A. Define the following:
1.) Skilled Reading
            a.) Construction -The creation of a construct; the process of combining ideas into a 
                                       congruous object of thought
            b.) Motivation - The reason or reasons one has for acting or behaving in a particular way.
                                     The general desire or willingness of someone to do something.
            c.) Life-long pursuit - a continuously supportive process which stimulates and empowers 
                 individuals to acquire all the knowledge, values, skills and understanding they will require     
                 throughout their lifetimes and to apply them with confidence, creativity and enjoyment, in all roles 
                 circumstances, and environments.
            d.) Strategy -  A plan of action or policy designed to achieve a major or overall aim.


2.) Reading is Meaningful - It helps you improve your language and your spelling. It also introduces new words and idea. A theory of reading provides the foundation for reading research, instruction and remediation. The Simple View of Reading forms the basis of many present day understandings of reading. However, this and other current reading theories seem to be missing significant components that can contribute to a more holistic understanding of the reading process and subsequent models of reading. An incomplete understanding of the reading process can hinder efforts at targeted interventions and the full development of student abilities.
3.) Reading is Developmental - Developmental reading is a systematic instruction in reading skills 
     strategies and it's include spelling and pronunciation.
4.) Reading is Language - is the process by which humans acquire the capacity to perceive and comprehend language, as well as to produce and use words and sentences to communicate.
5.) Reading is Learned by Reading - the ideal process of what is called emergent or early literacy begins in the relationship between hearing spoken language, seeing written language and feeling loved. The positive 
feeling that arises from spending time with books in a loving context provides a strong foundation and 
intrinsic motivation for the long and cognitively challenging process of learning to read.
6.) Reading is Social - reading is everything that surrounds the experience of reading electronic books  
     (eBooks).

         8.) They would prize them from their victims. Prize -  Something acquired without compensation.
         9.) She said pirates prized gold most highly. PrizedValue extremely highly

           It's one of the world's most fantastic species, "The Ant" . God has given ants many different abilities for providing their own food. What they do below ground is even more curious than the foraging processions on the surface.Mushrooms were eaten by adult and baby ants when it is chewed up into a mushy substance by the leafcutter ant . These kind of insects do not get food by attacking other animals, instead they grow their food like a farmer and stock it underground. That's why, some ants are called "farmer".
